The Primary Food Safety Level 2 Course trains food workers in the skills and knowledge of food safety and HACCP. The course is recognised as the industry gold standard by trainers, employers, and enforcement authorities. It complies with the legal obligation of food workers to be trained in food hygiene.

Who is the course intended for?
This course is intended for anyone who is working with food, anyone who is looking to improve their employment chances in the food industry and finally anyone looking to comply with the legal requirement for training.
This course is a classroom based and instructor led with the practical demonstrations. Where possible, demonstrations will involve a workplace setting and/or replication of typical work activities.
There is a 1 hour written exam.
The successful participants will be awarded with EHAI (Environmental Health Association of Ireland) Certificate valid for 5 years.
