Who is the course intended for?
This course is designed for healthcare workers who need to be trained to safely move and handle patients under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work 2005 and Manual Handling Regulations 2007

1 Day (09:00 – 16:30)
Training methodology:
This is classroom based & instructor led training supplemented with the use of instructional DVDs and practical demonstrations of the equipment use.
Assessment:
Multiple Choice Questions Exam & practical demonstration of correct lifting techniques
Accreditation/Certification:
On successful completion of this course participants will be issued with Amber Safety Certificate of Completion valid for 3 years.
