The course is designed to provide the learner with the knowledge, practical skills and understanding required to provide and coordinate First Aid in the workplace. This Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) First Aid Response Course (FAR) is the new First Aid Training Standard for occupational first aid in the workplace recognised by both the Health & Safety Authority and PHECC.

Who is the course intended for?
This course is intended for anyone who wish to become certified First Aid Responder.
Duration:
3 Days.

Option 1: Wed 7th, Wed 14th & Wed 21st June 2023

Option 2: Wed 28th, Thurs 29th & Fri 30th June 2023

Training methodology:
This course is a classroom based and instructor led highly interactive programme utilising a range of training methods: presentation, small group interactions, demonstrations and practical hands-on AED training.
Assessment:
30 minutes Multiple Choice Questions Exam (20 questions); the pass mark is 60% & practical skills assessment
Accreditation/Certification:
On successful completion of this course participants will receive a Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) First Aid Responder Certificate which is valid for 2 years.
